Factors Contributing to Teachers’ Self-Efficacy: A Case of Nepal

A key issue for teachers working in public secondary schools Nepal is their confidence capability to complete the tasks associated with professional activities. With this consideration, a study was carried out explore factors contributing Nepali teachers’ self-efficacy. To find factors, administered NTSE tool, developed through e-Delphi technique. sample of 390 school drawn from population 3427 Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur districts Nepal. cluster sampling technique used draw local government body each district. The exploratory factor analysis (EFA) applied using principal component matrix varimax rotation. EFA extraction further validated by confirmatory (CFA). found four viz., efficacy student engagement instructional preparation, which contribute self-efficacy schools. helps streamline as psychological construct development opportunities, directly impacting students’ academic learning achievement.
